The BEX Loyalty Program (the “VIP EXTRA Club”) sponsored by Beauty Express Limited (“BEX”) is a rewards program designed to help you get the most out of your membership, earn points, complimentary services, free products and more.
The following terms and conditions (these “VIP EXTRA Club Terms and Conditions”) contain important information regarding the VIP EXTRA Loyalty Program. Please read them carefully. These VIP EXTRA Club Terms and Conditions are incorporated into the Site Terms and Conditions. Acceptance of the Site Terms and Conditions includes acceptance of these VIP EXTRA Club Terms and Conditions. These VIP EXTRA Club Terms and Conditions are a binding agreement between you and BEX and will govern your participation in any and all VIP EXTRA Club offers.
Participating in the VIP EXTRA Club entitles members (“Members”) to have access to the VIP EXTRA Club Benefits & Privileges (“Rewards”) that may change from time to time and, which may be made available for limited times, all as determined by BEX in its sole discretion. BEX reserves the right to modify these VIP EXTRA Club Terms and Conditions at any time, without notice to you, so it is important to check the VIP EXTRA Club Terms and Conditions periodically. Participation in the VIP EXTRA or redemption of Rewards is considered acceptance of these VIP EXTRA Club Terms and Conditions and any modified terms included therein. Upon notice, BEX may, in its sole and absolute discretion, cancel, change, suspend or modify any aspect of the VIP EXTRA or any Rewards at any time, including the availability of any Rewards.

Program Duration

This Program will continue until terminated, suspended, modified, or converted to another Rewards program by BEX.

Becoming a Member

To become a Member of the Program, you must be a legal resident of Hong Kong SAR or Macau SAR, be at least 13 years old. To enroll in the VIP EXTRA Club, you simply need to register for an account at https://vipextra.com/my-account/ or do it in any of our physical shops, by filling the VIP EXTRA Club form available there. Only individuals are eligible to the VIP EXTRA Club and membership is limited to one account per individual.

How it Works

Once you are a Member, you can start adding up the VIP EXTRA points (“Points”) with every purchase you make at any of our Partner Brands. To know our Partner Brands, please check https://vipextra.com/#about.
• Shop with VIP EXTRA – every time you purchase a product from our physicals and online shops (the “Shop”) you earn 1 Point for every HK$1 spent (excluding shipping charges and fees). You must provide your unique bar code that will be attributed to you after log on to your account at the point of purchase (for physical shops) and log on to your account (for online shop) to have any points credited to your VIP EXTRA Club account.
• Birthday Points — every time you purchase a product from our physicals and online Shop during your birthday month, you earn x2 the Points for every HK$1 spent (excluding shipping charges and fees). You must provide a form of identification at the point of purchase (for physical shops) to have any points credited to your VIP EXTRA Club account.
• Register your Account — You get welcome bonus Points for registering your account.
• Tier Upgrade – You receive welcome bonus points with each tier upgrade.
In the case of past purchases or purchases made without presenting identification, points cannot be applied.
The VIP EXTRA Points expire within 12 months from the date they were earned if not used within that time period. Upon notice, BEX reserves the right to suspend, terminate, revalue or modify, without liability to Members, all or part of the Points’ value structure and offers and any merchandise or service. BEX reserves the right to adjudicate all Points discrepancies in its sole discretion, and the Members agree to abide by any such adjudication. VIP EXTRA Tiers

Insider

Insider status is conferred to registered Members. No minimum amount of spent is required per 12-month period. Insider status grants you a 10% discount on regular priced merchandise on specified brands and a 100 Points welcome bonus. Insider is also entitled to bonus point rewards and members-only promotions. All aspects of the Insider VIP EXTRA Club Tier are subject to these VIP EXTRA Club Terms and Conditions and the Site Terms and Conditions. BEX may, in its sole discretion, alter, limit, or modify the VIP EXTRA Club rules, regulations, benefits, eligibility for membership, or any other feature of the VIP EXTRA Club or may terminate the VIP EXTRA Club at any time in its sole discretion.

Loyalist

Loyalist status is conferred to registered Members. A minimum amount of HK$ 10,000 expenditure is required per 12-month period is required to acquire and keep the Loyalist Tier. Loyalist Tier grants you a 15% discount on regular priced merchandise on specified brands and a 1000 Points welcome bonus. Loyalist Tier is also entitled to bonus point rewards, new arrivals members-only promotions, new arrivals 2x points, birthday gift, welcome gift and member exclusive sale. All aspects of the Loyalty VIP EXTRA Tier are subject to these VIP EXTRA Club Terms and Conditions and the Site Terms and Conditions. Prestige

Prestige status is conferred to registered Members. A minimum amount of HK$ 50,000 expenditure is required per 12-month period is required to acquire and keep the Prestige Tier. Prestige Tier grants you a 20% discount on regular priced merchandise on specified brands and a 10,000 Points welcome bonus. Prestige Tier is also entitled to bonus point rewards, new arrivals members-only promotions, new arrivals 2x points, birthday gift, welcome gift, member exclusive sale, exclusive events & launches and birthday month 2x points. All aspects of the Prestige VIP EXTRA Club Tier are subject to these VIP EXTRA Club Terms and Conditions and the Site Terms and Conditions. Supreme

Supreme Tier status is conferred by invitation only. Supreme Tier grants you a 25% discount on regular priced merchandise on specified brands and a 50,000 Points welcome bonus. Prestige Tier is also entitled to bonus point rewards, new arrivals members-only promotions, new arrivals 2x points, birthday gift, welcome gift, member exclusive sale, exclusive events & launches, birthday month 2x points, private sales and EXTRA surprise gifts. All aspects of the Prestige VIP EXTRA Club Tier are subject to these VIP EXTRA Club Terms and Conditions and the Site Terms and Conditions. BEX may, in its sole discretion, alter, limit, or modify the VIP EXTRA Club rules, regulations, benefits, eligibility for membership, or any other feature of the VIP EXTRA Club or may terminate the VIP EXTRA Club at any time in its sole discretion.

Your membership depends on your accumulated spending within a 12-month period from the date you have enrolled, renewed, upgraded or downgraded into your current tier. As soon as you accrue enough spending to advance you into another tier within a membership year, your account will be upgraded to a higher tier. Upgrading of tiers depends on accumulated spending. We will review your membership at the end of your membership period to determine whether you will stay at the same level, or move down a tier.

REDEEMING YOUR VIP EXTRA POINTS

The Points are redeemable towards exclusive Rewards. You can redeem your Points during the checkout process.
To redeem your Points, just need to access your VIP EXTRA Club account and redeem your accumulated points for the exclusive rewards available.
Product quantities may be limited. If you have more Points than are necessary to redeem a Reward, the appropriate number of Points will be applied and deducted from your account to complete the transaction; points not needed to complete the transaction will remain in your account. If you have Points in your account, but not enough to complete the transaction, all Points in your account will be applied to the transaction.

Refunds & Returns

Any items received as a result of Points redemption are non-returnable, non-refundable and hold no cash value.
Points earned via credit card transaction purchases on the Site will be rescinded in the event that such purchase is returned for a refund.

VIP EXTRA POINTS MINIMUMS AND MAXIMUM

You cannot redeem Points for more than the total amount of your purchase. Points are not redeemable for cash.

VIP EXTRA POINTS BALANCE

You can always check your VIP EXTRA Point balance in your account page.

VIP EXTRA POINTS EXPIRATION

Points will expire 12 months from the date they were first earned. If the Member does not redeem Points within this timeframe, the Points will be lost.
Your Account page lists your Points balance history, which displays the dates your points were earned.

Conditions

Members may not assign or transfer any Points. The VIP EXTRA Club makes no warranty in any respect as to any rewards, merchandise or service available within the Program.

Warranty Services

At the VIP EXTRA Club, our top priority is ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. To achieve this, we proudly provide a comprehensive product warranty service for our valued customers. Whether you’ve purchased a beauty device from Telosin or a hair tool from A80 Paris, our EXTRA CARE warranty service is specifically designed to offer you peace of mind and assurance.

Applicability of Warranty

The warranty is applicable to all eligible products purchased directly from our retail stores, authorized retailers or official website. It covers manufacturing defects and malfunctions that occur under normal use and within the specified warranty period. The warranty is valid for the original purchaser of the product, who has registered as a member of the VIPEXTRA Club, and is non-transferable.

Definition

The “lifetime” warranty does not imply that the product is covered indefinitely. For the purpose of this warranty, the term “lifetime” refers to the estimated period during which the product is expected to remain functional and free of defects under normal use and conditions, since over the time a product will become worn and obsolete, material and components will wear down or become unusable due to limitations of current technologies. Taking these factors into consideration, we reserve the right to determine the average lifespan of each product in accordance with its normal usage, maintenance, proper conditioning and other factors referred in these terms and conditions.

Warranty Duration

For A80 Paris Hair Tools:

  • For single transactions under HKD 2,500: The warranty coverage is valid for 1 year from the date of purchase.
  • For single transactions between HKD 2,501 and HKD 3,999: The warranty coverage is extended to 5 years.
  • For single transactions over HKD 4,000: Lifetime warranty is provided for the hair tools.
  • For hair tools purchased from our online shop or any authorized distributors outside of our retail stores, the warranty period is 1 year from the date of purchase. .

For Telosin Beauty Devices:

  • The Telosin V beauty device includes a 2-year warranty from the date of purchase. .
  • The Telosin VII beauty device is covered by a lifetime warranty.
  • The Telosin X beauty device is covered by a lifetime warranty.

Administrative Fee

For A80 Paris Hair Tools:

  • For exchanges of A80 Paris hair tools, an administrative fee of HKD 388 per exchange per tool applies.

For Telosin Beauty Devices:

  • During the first year of purchase, the administration fee is waived for all models.
  • Starting from the second year onwards, an administrative fee will be applicable for servicing each model as follows:
    • Telosin V beauty device: An administrative fee of HKD 880 per service use.
    • Telosin VII beauty device: An administrative fee of HKD 880 per service use.
    • Telosin X beauty device: An administrative fee of HKD 1,888 per service use.

Please note that the administrative fee may be subject to adjustment over time.

Claim Procedures

We have streamlined the process for submitting a claim under the “EXTRA CARE” program to make it simple and hassle-free. To submit a claim, please access your VIP EXTRA Club profile and carefully follow the instructions provided for warranty claims. Make sure to provide all the required details and include any necessary photos as instructed. Once your claim is submitted, we will communicate with you via email to provide further guidance and inform you about the next steps in the process.

In the event we suspect any fraudulent activity or require further investigation, we reserve the right to request the customer to send the defective tools to us for inspection. All items sent to us for inspection remain the property of EXTRA CARE and will not be returned.

Replacement Process

In the event of a defective product, we will replace it with a brand new one of the same model. While we prioritize matching the original purchase, the replacement’s color or design may vary based on stock availability. If the original purchase is unavailable or has been discontinued, we may provide a reasonably similar model at our discretion.

Processing Time

We value efficiency and prompt service for our customers. We aim to review warranty claims within 2 business days upon receiving all necessary documentations.

For A80 PARIS Hair Tools:
Upon our final approval, we will do our best to send the replacements within 14 business days. There is no need to return the defective tools.

For Telosin Beauty Devices:
Upon receiving the defective device, we will do our best to send the replacement within 14 business days.

Please note that these timeframes are provided as a reference, and in unforeseen circumstances, it may occasionally take longer to process. We appreciate your patience and assure you that we are committed to resolving your claim as quickly as possible.

Warranty Service Locations

The warranty coverage for Telosin is applicable exclusively to Hong Kong, Macau, and China. However, for A80 Paris, warranty coverage is limited to Hong Kong and Macau only. We regrettably cannot extend warranty service beyond these regions.

Customers residing outside of these regions may still be eligible for warranty service, with the understanding that replacements will only be sent to a valid address within the respective regions. This restriction is attributable to customs policies and the logistical complexities associated with shipping brand new electronic products internationally.

To ensure a smooth process, it is important for customers to provide a valid address within the respective regions where the replacement can be delivered. The administrative fee covers the initial shipping cost of the replacement. However, if the package is returned to us due to an incorrect or unattended provided address, the customer will be responsible for the reshipment cost. Additionally, any taxes, customs duties, or other fees incurred when the replacement arrives at the customer’s address will be the customer’s responsibility.

It is important for customers to ensure that they provide a valid address in Hong Kong, Macau, or China where the replacement can be delivered. The administrative fee covers the initial shipping cost for the replacement. However, if the package is returned to us due to an incorrect or unattended provided address, the customer will be responsible for the reshipment cost. Additionally, if there are any taxes, customs duties, or other fees when the replacement arrives at the customer’s address in Hong Kong, Macau, or China, the customer may need to bear those additional costs.

Warranty Coverage

The warranty covers replacements for eligible products, at our discretion, if they are found to be defective due to faulty materials, workmanship, or manufacturing defects within the warranty period. The coverage includes:

  • Product components or parts that fail to function properly.
  • Functional defects that affect the performance or usability of the product.
  • Issues arising from non-accidental damage or normal wear and tear within the warranty period.

Warranty Exclusions

The warranty exclusions include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Physical or internal damage caused by misuse, negligence, or improper storage. Examples of such damage include dropping the product, plugging it into an incompatible power outlet, using the wrong voltage, improper handling of cords, exposure to water, and failure to follow package instructions.
  • Broken components, such as scratches on the plates, cracked or chipped plates, product build-up, broken exterior, broken plugs, burnt cords, and exposed wires.
  • Deterioration of the surface finish, aesthetics, or appearance of the product.
  • Any alterations or repairs made by you or a third party without our authorization.
  • Theft or loss of the product.

We cannot guarantee the quality of products sold by unauthorized retailers, and thus we will not honor the warranty for any products sold by them.

Amendment of Warranty Terms

We may, at our sole discretion, from time to time amend or otherwise modify or replace any of these warranty terms, as it deems fit by posting a notice on our website vipextra.com , which shall be effective and binding on you upon notice.

Verbal Representations

Please be advised that any verbal representations made by our sales associates cannot replace or modify the terms and conditions stated herein. The warranty coverage and its provisions are solely based on the official terms and conditions provided. It is essential to rely on the information and clauses set forth in the written terms and conditions to prevent any potential disputes or misunderstandings.

Termination of Warranty

In the event that the brands or the company responsible for the products covered under this warranty service cease to operate or permanently close, the warranty coverage associated with those brands or the company will be terminated. As a result, any remaining warranty period will be deemed null and void, and no further warranty claims or obligations will be honored.

Termination

BEX may, in its sole and absolute discretion, cancel, change, suspend, or modify any aspect of the Program and/or any Reward at any time, including the availability of any Reward. BEX may, in its sole and absolute discretion, terminate or suspend any Member’s participation in the Program for breach of these Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions, or for taking any actions that are inconsistent with the intent of these Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions. BEX reserves the right at its sole discretion to prohibit any Member from participating in any aspect of the Program if BEX deems or suspects that such Member has engaged in or has attempted to engage in any of the following: (a) acting in violation of these Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions; or (b) damaging, tampering with or corrupting the operation of the Program or Site; or (c) acting with intent to annoy, harass or abuse any other person; or (d) any inappropriate, uncooperative, disruptive, fraudulent, potentially fraudulent, or unusual behavior or activity; or (e) activity deemed in the sole discretion of BEX to be generally inconsistent with the intended operation of the Program. Any decision BEX makes relating to termination or suspension of any Member’s participation in the Program shall be final and binding in all respects. BEX shall be the sole determiner in cases of suspected abuse, fraud, or breach of these Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions or intent of these Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions.

Release

Except for willful misconduct or gross negligence on the part of BEX , by participating in the Program, Members release BEX , its parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, advertising and promotions agencies and their respective directors, officers, employees, and agents (collectively, “Released Parties”) from any and all liability for any loss, harm, damages, cost or expense, including, without limitation, property damages, personal injury and/or death, arising out of or in any way connected to the Program or the use of any Rewards.

Personal Data

Our Privacy Policy explains in detail how we collect and use your personal information. Details from your application to become a member of the VIPEXTRA Club will be collected and used for the purposes of the VIPEXTRA Club and data analysis purposes. Your personal information will also be collected and used for marketing purposes, provided that you grant us consent for that purpose.
By submitting your application for the VIP EXTRA Club, you agree and expressly authorize that BEX collects and processes your personal information or uses any personal information held by any of the BEX Brand Partners, to be bound by BEX Privacy Policy and the VIP EXTRA Club Terms and Conditions, and to receive BEX marketing materials, provided that you have given your prior consent to receive such marketing materials. Your personal information is necessary to enable you to be a Member of the VIP EXTRA Club, so if we do not collect it, you will not be eligible to participate and become a Member.

Validity and Enforcement

The VIP EXTRA Club Terms and Conditions are valid and enforceable upon commencement of membership. Situations that occurred prior to that date regarding any BEX policies, warranty, complaints, returns, etc will not be contemplated or treated under the VIP EXTRA Club and these Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions.

Jurisdiction

The Program and these VIP EXTRA Club Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR and Hong Kong SAR courts will have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising out or related with the VIP EXTRA Club and these VIP EXTRA Club Terms and Conditions.
